ChainZ Arena crypto game


ChainZ arena is definitely one of the most notable recent additions to the DAPPs space. 

Combine it with multi-chain support (You can use ETH, TRX, or EOS) and you have a shot to the most popular decentralized game.

But let’s dive deeper into the Arena

Game side:

The game itself is very well-built and is fun to play. 

Developers couldn’t overcome some short-comings of semi-AFK free-to-play games.

So the pay-wall is pretty stiff, and you don’t want to spend your crypto, you will have to wait several days to advance through some bosses.

Education is not as accessible as they could be. 

It took me a while to figure out that you can combine water + wood and fire + earth. 

Why can’t I combine fire and wood to get a torch?

Boss Brawl, Fortune Wheel, Forge, Summoner circle.
All these mechanics while fun, are mostly different types of gambling, and while developers did a great job to give people as many different mechanics as they could, on the 3rd day of grinding stages and pressing that skip button I burned out.

That’s a classical pay-to-win situation. 

Plus it is way easier to score wins when you attack. 

Lack of quests made this part of the game pretty invisible for me. 

Crystal orb arena while providing valuable drop, is even more pay-to-win mess.

Play-to-Earn

Here I want to point out a couple of things:

If you consider this game from an investing point of view, you need to understand that you have to spend some time in the game. 

Daily.

You need to withdraw your drops. 

You need to upgrade your heroes and advance stages to increase your mining rewards.

So far I invested around 2000 TRX in the game, while I got back around 200 TRX in total. 

So the return for me is pretty nice. 

I’m curious to see what the DROPs growth rate will be.

Just spend that money bro. 

For every $ spent, the game gives you souls to freeze.

Buy DAMN MINE HAMMER. 

Here you have the double advantage, you get souls for spending crypto, and then you will be able to mine extra souls.

Coinbase to Require Recipient Information for Crypto Transfers From Users in Canada, Singapore and Japan

  Customers in those countries who send crypto outside their Coinbase accounts must provide recipients’ names, addresses and in some cases, additional information, as of early April. Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global (COIN) will soon require its customers in Canada, Japan and Singapore who send cryptocurrency to another financial institution or exchange to provide the name, address and in the case of Japan, the destination wallet of the recipient. Coinbase has been sending notices to its customers in those countries that the changes will take effect in early April in order to comply with local travel rules in those places. Coinbase didn't immediately respond to requests for additional comment on the moves, but confirmed that they were taking place.
